I remember, when I was an elementary school kid. My teacher gave us a composition’s topic “what kind of occupation you want to do? when you grow up.”. I remember that I wanted to be a politician or president. Cause when you close the door, your secretary gonna …. hmm, you know Clinton …. (Shut up Paul!)
Oh man, just kidding. That’s definitely not what I thought, when I was a kid and even now. I remember, I wrote something like help this country, create the best system in the world and bring people happiness.
In Taiwan, we have such kind of bias in different occupations. There are many people treating labor or foreign labor very bad, especially to foreign labor from south east Asia. Many people think doctor, lawyer, engineer, teacher…. are more decent than the other occupation and even their social-class is higher. Therefore, if you stand in our culture, morality and logic’s shoes, a cute little prostitute’s social class is absolutely no match to a president.
However, is people’s nobleness truly defined by their occupation?
Last time, I saw an interesting video.
In this video, some dudes stop a dodge challenger and ask the driver, what does she do for living. That driver happens to be Eva Elfie. She veiledly talks about her “sort of Youtube” job that guys all know that. Just in case you ladies and gentlemen don’t know. Eva Elfie is one of the best in that industry and as I know she only do her filming business with her boyfriend. Which is even more medically “cleaner” than those people who sleep around. Also, she said she spread love with her video.
Let’s do a quick review of the definition of prostitute. According to the oxford learner’s dictionaries, it’s “a person who has sex for money”. So, in the generalized definition, let’s just say that if your job is posting your own “spreading love videos” on the internet for money, it is also a job like prostitute. Just it gets digitalized, not as the traditional physical contact one.

And then the so called “Special operation” had begun. Those Russian kids driven by the patriotism goes to the war, just because of the imaginary phantom. His Ideology might get you high, but in the reality the president brings someone’s kid, father, husband to the war that also break other people’s family and they might never come back.
